DRESS CODE 'GA Force' Series 'GA Operation Core' Product Release

Dress Code Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuki Ejiri) has released "GA Operation Core," a new product in the DRESS CODE "GA Force" series that promotes business efficiency in general affairs departments. This is the third product following "Places/Location Management" and "Equipment/Supplies Management." "GA Operation Core" consolidates procedures that were previously processed separately in general affairs operations into a single system, simultaneously achieving improved employee experience and reduced workload for general affairs departments. This reduces the man-hours generated by conventional operations, significantly improves the operational efficiency of general affairs departments, and prevents risks such as approval oversights and inadequate audit responses.

Background

Corporate DX has progressed primarily around human resources, labor, and accounting. On the other hand, the general affairs domain is often put on the back burner, and delays in digitalization are conspicuous. The background to this includes the breadth of the general affairs domain and the diversity of operations, and the lack of appropriate solutions that can comprehensively cover these operations. As a result, the following issues have become apparent in general affairs sites where DX is not progressing:

  • Proliferation of application channels: Routes are dispersed through email, verbal communication, and paper, leading to omissions in request content and response delays
  • Variation in input content: No unified format exists, leading to frequent omissions and returns
  • Lack of transparency in progress status: Approval processes are invisible, causing delays due to absent approvers or bottlenecks. As a result, progress inquiries from employees occur frequently
  • Inefficiency due to paper and seal dependency: Electronic and paper systems coexist, creating duplicate management and unnecessary costs
  • Inadequate audit trails: Poor records of who approved what and when, requiring significant effort for audit responses

These issues lead not only to increased man-hours for general affairs staff but also to deteriorated employee experience and internal control risks. This time, we have released "GA Operation Core" to eliminate such inefficiencies in application and procedural operations and internal control risks.

Product Overview

"GA Operation Core"

GA Operation Core

"GA Operation Core" is a product that centrally manages various applications and procedures in general affairs operations. It standardizes business processes by processing employee application input, approval, and execution through workflows. It digitalizes general affairs operations that previously depended on paper, Excel, and email, improving efficiency and transparency. Furthermore, when used in combination with "Equipment/Supplies Management," it seamlessly connects ledger data with procedures, leading not only to improved efficiency in application and procedural operations but also to cost reduction through proper equipment management that suppresses surplus inventory and strengthens internal controls by preventing unauthorized use of equipment.

Major Feature List

From among various general affairs operations, we have initially addressed procedures for business card issuance applications, equipment usage applications, and equipment damage/loss reports.

Business Card Issuance Application

This is a function that allows employees to request business card creation. Input is simplified based on information such as names and affiliations registered in the HR ledger. Customization such as creating with business card titles is also possible.

Equipment Usage Application

This is a function that allows applications for supply and lending from a company-defined equipment list. Equipment subject to applications can be specified by the general affairs side. Applications are unified in the system without being dispersed through email, verbal communication, and paper. Unified formats prevent omissions and returns, and paperless operations reduce duplicate management and unnecessary costs.

Equipment Damage/Loss Report

This is a function that accepts reports from employees when lent or installed equipment is damaged or lost. There is no need to rely on verbal or email reports, and reporting is unified in the system. Since damage and loss content can be recorded in a unified format, information omissions and response delays are prevented.

This release begins as a beta version, and we will continue to make improvements based on feedback received through actual usage. In the future, we plan to gradually expand the general affairs operations that can be handled in addition to flexible workflow settings.
